August 3rd and 4th 2024



The Western is considered the area's top amateur golf event which draws players from the Windsor/Essex county area to compete in 2 days of competition.  It is also the areas longest running amateur event being held annually since it's inception in 1964.

 

The field is limited to 84 players competing on day 1 with the low 39 making the cut to compete on day 2.  Players must be 19 years of age and have a handicap of 8 or less.

 

Each year the first round play will take place at Roseland Golf and Curling Club, with round 2 alternating between two of the areas top private clubs, Beach Grove Golf and Country Club and Essex Golf and Country Club
